Shawn Sullivan Mark Ely there is some development, but the leap for many of the one and done type kids is not that dramatic. Many are capable of making the leap to the league almost immediately after high school ball and playing AAU circuits. The scouts know what they are capable of. There isn’t much shock and awe when a kid does something now. Having watched this for ten years now as a Kentucky fan, what most of the one and done players are doing now is very similar to what they did here as well. Margy Wiggins In a way they are paid if they are on a multi-thousand dollar scholarship. I feel sorry for the athletes who are on teams but have no scholarship help. They often contribute just as much as the star.
Lyndon Mickens These kids get free room and food, they get free healthcare some better then the president, get a free education and they get stipends as they don’t have opportunity to work…so what will be the standard..will 5 star get paid more then 1 star, will basketball get more then golf will boys get more then girls…will the student now be required to pay for their own education, food, and board…just leave it alone…kids will now have agents in kindergarten.
