Though he was a badass in the movie, I didn’t like that Gogeta was in the movie. Not because I hate Gogeta, but I never liked the idea of having Broly being made so powerful that a fusion was needed to stop him (though the movie does at least explain enough of why Broly is so strong that I believe his power is justified to a degree) and the aspect of fusions was always a sore spot in the series, with the Buu and Zamasu Sagas, Goku had to get Vegeta to agree to the fusion.
